Life Cycle Assessment is a rapidly changing field. As a result, making requests for LCA information is complicated. The SPPC, with the support of its advisory committee of LCA experts, has been developing a set of criteria for life cycle data and LCA results that will be acceptable according to the terms of the membership, as well as being reasonable within the scope of the tools currently available to manufacturers. As the SPPC timeline suggests, the function of the organization's website will be developing, as well as the tools it provides to both manufacturers and members.
